
The Junior High track team will not meet over spring break. Everyone is encouraged to stay active, work on some of the skills we have practiced, and enjoy the time off from school. Our first meet is the Washington County Invitational on March 29th, starting at 1:00.

The 3rd Graders finished a unit on bridges by constructing and testing the strength of their bridge by adding weights. the winning bridge held $4.91 worth of pennies. the students also learned that it's not a failure if you can learn from the experience for the future.

Mrs. Rundle’s class made place value cake today. The students use the things they learned about place value to work with numbers and creat the cakes!


4th graders have completed their Presidential research papers. They picked a president, researched on the internet and talked about credible sources, took notes, wrote a rough draft consisting of an intro., body, and conclusion, typed it, edited it, created a poster, and presented to their class. Ask a 4th grader to share their facts with you!





Ruby Red Tryouts are coming up and the sign up sheet is posted in the office! All 8th-11th students are encouraged to consider trying out for the 2021-2022 cheer and dance squad.

Our amazing kitchen staff has worked tirelessly to make sure our kids are fed nutritious meals on a daily basis. During the shutdown in 2020 they made meals to be delivered or picked up by families from our communities. They were awarded this certificate for all of their hard work. Thank you for all you do for our schools!

Washington County hosted the BVL Scholars' Bowl tournament tonight. Thanks to all the adult and student helpers - great job! Congratulations to the 8th grade team on their 2nd place finish and the the 7th grade team for placing 4th.
