Chemistry students know how to follow the law. What law? The law of conservation of energy. Using a calorimeter and the heat gained= heat lost formula of energy conservation, students collected data so they can calculate the specific heat of a metal sample (copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, or brass). My students definitely say, “Working in lab is cool.” (but this lab was hot! [hot plates...get it? 😀

4th graders have completed their Presidential research papers. They picked a president, researched on the internet and talked about credible sources, took notes, wrote a rough draft consisting of an intro., body, and conclusion, typed it, edited it, created a poster, and presented to their class. Ask a 4th grader to share their facts with you!

Our amazing kitchen staff has worked tirelessly to make sure our kids are fed nutritious meals on a daily basis. During the shutdown in 2020 they made meals to be delivered or picked up by families from our communities. They were awarded this certificate for all of their hard work. Thank you for all you do for our schools!
