Onaga tourney update: Cteam lost in three to Frankfort. Won in 3 over Blue Valley then lost in 2 to Nemaha Central. Varsity beat Onaga in 3. Lost to Frankfort in 2 and lost in 2 to Wabaunsee... 2 more games for the varsity.

Our 6th graders had their turn to read to the Head Start students. Our "big" kids enjoy spending time with the "little" kids!
The Vans shoe design contest opened for voting today. We have 7 high school students who have entered and THEY NEED YOUR HELP to get to the next level of judging. Voting is open from October 1 to October 13th only. Go to www.custom-culture.vans.com and click on the yellow “Vote Now” button. Then scroll down a bit (past the meet our judges) to the box that says “Search by username”. Type in the username of the student you wish to vote for (usernames are listed under the student’s design on the flyer). Now Vote! You can only vote once a day BUT you can vote from different machines – computer, phone, laptop, tablet, etc. Please share this with family and friends and vote often!! Thanks for your help!

WCJH defeats Fairbury 25-7 & 25-10, falls to Beloit 17-25 & 12-25, defeats Minneapolis 28-26 & 25-23 in pool play st the Republic county tournament. The lady tigers took home 3rd s the defeated Republic County 25-11 & 25-12.
