Tiger Boys lost at D-West. 49-37
That closes out the regular season. We face Rural Vista on Tuesday for District play.

The 7-12th grade band had the privilege of hosting KSU Bands very own Dr. Alex Wimmer this morning during morning rehearsal. Dr. Wimmer is the Associate Director of Bands at KSU. He made the early morning commute up to work with the kids on their contest pieces and edge out some fundamental skills. It is always so exciting to watch changes and improvements happen in a matter of seconds and that is exactly what happened. Within the first few minutes the improvements made were exponential. Please be sure to ask your band student what they thought, what they learned, and how much they improved!!
We even have a plan for Dr. Wimmer to come back in the fall with a few students to work on the new marching show! Bring on the Tiger Band!

Dessa represented Washington County Elementary as being the only student to place in the Washington County Soil Conservation Poster Contest. Way to go Dessa!

2024-25 Winter Parents' Night continued! Thank you seniors and parents!

Thursday morning’s temperatures/windchills will still be dangerously low. However, USD 108 will be back to school with a 2 hour late start. I know that late starts are hard to deal with, but a 2 hour late start allows our bus drivers and student drivers to navigate the roads to school in daylight instead of darkness. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have worked through this nasty weather. Spring will be here soon! There is no AM preschool and no breakfast served tomorrow.

24-25 Sub-State Brackets have been released. 1st round and 2nd round games are at the higher seed home court. 3rd round games are at Centralia KS High School. Game start times are subject to change. The Ruby Reds had a fantastic night celebrating and showcasing our seniors, Natalya Almendarez, Mackenzie Kuhaneck, and Garrison Sand. This squad has a lot to be proud of and has loved cheering at home games. Go, Tigers!! #rubyreds108

The weather hasn't improved any and the roads are slick. U.S.D. 108 will not have school on Wednesday, February 19th.

A cold night to end a fun pep band season. Glad we were able to get in this last game before tournament season kicks off. We were missing a large chunk of our hs band. But our 5th and 6th graders held band showed up and helped keep the band rocking! First annual Middle school night was a success! Huge shout out to our seniors who have set a high bar of excellence!

Due to extreme weather conditions, U.S.D. 108 will not have school on Tuesday, February 18. Please stay safe and warm.

2024-2025 Winter Senior Night in the books. Thank you Seniors and Parents!
