Michelle Oehm came to visit the 6th graders and shared her amazing collection of artifacts. She has been an Indian artifact hunter for years and showed some of her collection to our 6th graders. The knowledge she shared with our students was invaluable! Michelle, you are a true gem! Thank you so much for taking the time to truly inspire our students. This week, in Ms. Keesecker’s class, our students will be reading an article that was published about Michelle’s once in a lifetime find. If you are interested, the link will be listed in the comments!
ATTENTION!! In the weekly update, the VB Parent's Night was scheduled between the 5pm and 6pm Varsity matches. There has been a change in schedule and the Parent's Night Recognition will happen after the 6 pm match.

Mrs. Bakers class spent a lot of time and effort this week completing the writing process for their personal narrative. Students brainstormed, wrote rough drafts for an intro, body, and conclusion, edited their own, peer edited, typed their paper, and shared it in class.
Here is the weekly update. Info includes Parent/Teacher Conference dates & Parent Night Info for both HS volleyball and JH athletics parents.

To the High School Football Team: you have so many little eyes looking up to you on and off the field. In their eyes you are the coolest people in school. The 4th grade flag football team that play in the Clay Center league planned on their own to dress like the high school football team. Look close...jerseys, jeans, boots, and hats!
The rock painting morning club is adding beauty to our rock landscape.
