Monday’s menu has changed.
Breakfast is cinnamon roll and sausage. Lunch is chicken strips, tri-tater, corn and roll. Fruit and milk is included with all meals.

Thank you parents for being patient with our district as we have made our way through this most recent Covid situation. At this time, most phone calls have been made as to who will be in quarantine. School will resume as normal on Monday. Students in this newest round of quarantine will resume learning on Tuesday either at home or in a modified quarantine. There are still some Covid tests pending that may require additional quarantining. We will keep you informed as soon as we have any more information. Thank you again for your understanding.

U.S.D. 108 has just been notified of a positive non-staff adult case of Covid that might have multiple student exposures with some students exhibiting symptoms. To keep all students and staff safe and to allow the district time to track any potentially affected students, there will be NO SCHOOL in U.S.D. 108 tomorrow, Friday, November 6th. We apologize for this late notice, but we were just notified by the health department.

Thank you to Rebecca and Washington County Farm Bureau for the presentation and for sponsoring our 4th grade class.

Keeping the safety and health of our community, staff, and student body first and foremost we have decided that the 2020 Homecoming class wars, crowning, cruise, dance, etc. will be postponed. Specifics on a future date have not been set. Thank you.

WCHS HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK
#BETIGERSTRONG

This football season was filled with many obstacles both in and outside of our control. I’m very thankful that we had the opportunity to compete as a team under the Friday night lights after the constant uncertainty of covid through the Summer and Fall. It hurts that the season is over, but I believe that this team matured as football players and acquired the character necessary to become better young men. I’m excited to keep working and building a better team and culture moving forward! #TigerStrong
“Anyone who attempts to build great things will face challenges. It’s part of the building process. Without struggle there is no reward. Without obstacles there’s no growth. Without setbacks there’s no triumph. Without failure and defeat along the way there’s no ultimate victory and feeling of accomplishment. As a builder of lives and people and teams, you must expect challenges, adversity, rejection, and negativity but have an even greater expectation that you will overcome them.”

Tonights WCHS vs. Little River HS District FB Playoff is scheduled to run through Little Rivers new NFHS Network System. If you are a NFHS member, just log in and list Little River High School on the search tab. I logged in a little bit ago and it's listed. Go Tigers!

Congratulations to the recipients of the WCHS Tiger Strong Awards for the first 9 Weeks of school as voted on by WCHS staff. Each of these students and staff member go above and beyond in and out of school, for their peers, students, and represent USD 108 to the highest level.
Some of the words used to describe this group of students and staff member were kind, helpful, persistent, role models, respectful, positive, and so on. We couldn't be more proud of this group. Thanks for all that you do. Keep up the good work.

Spoooooky 5th graders

What happened to Washington County’s sweet and innocent 4th graders? They assure me they will be back on Monday! 4th graders and Halloween hates bullying.

4th graders dream of no bullying! Pajama Day is always a favorite.

Washington County football will play at Little River on Friday, October 30th at 7:00 PM, not on Thursday, as posted in the Washington County News. Thanks!
